Chris Rudel, Designated Broker

Chris has been developing Commercial Real Estate for 38 years in Arizona and Nevada. His first Commercial Development Project, built by he and his father in 1971, was our North Phoenix Storage Solutions facility, which we still own and operate. It is among the first Self-Storage Facilities built in the Valley. Chris is a conservative investor and has enjoyed tremendous success in his real estate career by employing pure gut instinct. He is not only a self-storage industry leader, but is a real estate community leader as well, and sits on numerous professional and community boards. Chris is one of the original members/founders of the Arizona Mini Storage Association (currently the Arizona Self-Storage Association/AZSA). He has served in several capacities within the association, including President, and currently sits on the Board of Directors as the chairman of the Public Relations committee. He maintains a General Contractor's License as well as a Broker's License in an effort to better serve our investment interests. Chris' vertical approach to all current and future investments allow him to control costs and better anticipate any issues that may arise, fostering continued success.

James joined The Rudel Company in 2007 and provides asset management for our Self-Storage, Office Building, and Land Assets, as well as both Residential and Commercial Real Estate Sales and Leasing.  In addition, he utilizes his marketing and advertising background to provide marketing, technical, and IT support for our Real Estate portfolio.  After graduating from the College of Communications at Texas Christian University, James was a founding partner of a Television Advertising Post-Production firm in Dallas. After 7 years, James moved the family to Phoenix. With his background in editorial and design, James has been able to put his skills to work marketing our company and our subsidiaries on the internet via their own websites. James applies this same skill set to the work he produces for his clients. It is sometimes difficult for buyers to find what they are looking for in the mountain of real estate documents that most agents dump on their client's desk. James creates concise, web accessible reports that his clients can access on the fly via their phone or computer. He is dedicated to serving the needs of our current and future tenants as well as our investment partners. James is very active in the Arizona Self-Storage Association which has a national reputation of innovating and leading by example. In his role as Chairman of the Communications Committee, he was recently instrumental in the development and launch of the first fully integrated, online self-storage auction website.
